Technology like this needs to be in the spotlight…

I really thought this was interesting, and looks far more promising than Hydrogen Fuel Cells.

Stuff like this could truly change our dependency on Oil and fossil fuels, let alone the world, while allowing us fast cars, boats, planes and other vehicles… Imagine everything running on just water converted to HH0?!?!?

Some new graphical signatures I made for another upcoming game…

December 7th, 2007

Spent a little time silhouetting public screenshots and mixing some of my own textures/seamless tiles to come up with a few signatures for a new game coming out in 2008: Frontlines: Fuel of War. Let me know what you think…

Reposted: CEO of LifeLock Identity Stolen

September 25th, 2007

Friggin’ hilarious… what a ‘tard…

You may have seen the ads around for LifeLock, they provide identity theft protection. The CEO, Todd Jones, publishes his Social Security number on LifeLock’s web site and in the company’s TV commercials to demonstrate how effective the company is in protecting the identity of its customers.

Someone took out a $500 loan in his name. However, the man who stole the identity of LifeLock co-founder Todd Davis won’t face criminal charges, police say, because LifeLock stepped in before the police could finish investigating the crime and coerced the suspect into making a videotaped confession that isn’t admissible in court.

“They went to his house with a camera crew and they yelled at him and browbeat him into signing a confession that they had already typed out,” Moore said.

The man told police he was informed that if he did not sign the confession and agree to do community service, police would be coming to arrest him.

The man acknowledged illegally obtaining the loan and said he did it because he was desperate. The man also admitted that he got Davis’ Social Security number from LifeLock’s Web site, Moore said.

OK… is it me, or are people buying on eBay retarded?

September 4th, 2007

In my recent experience of looking for an upgrade to a Macintosh Mini on eBay, it’s become very clear that hardly anyone is doing research on current prices for items before they bid. I mean, time after time, I saw people paying anywhere from $50-300 MORE for a USED, 1-2+ year old box than they would for a brand new core2Duo mini. Some of them were even paying more for a G4 for pete’s sake!

I don’t get it… I mean… what gives? Thats like paying MORE for a car on some sloppy used car lot, than buying a brand new one for the same price or less, with a warranty and that “new car smell.” (Not that you have that new car smell with a computer, but…) Are people that caught up in the whole “It’s on eBay so it has to be a deal” that they don’t bother researching prices?? Sure, some of the rigs came with some extras, such as software+license, but I’m not talking about those… these were run of the mill 1.6ghz coreDuo (not core2Duo) machines, with only a single 512mb stick of memory, selling for $600, $700, even $800… no keyboard.. no mouse… no nothing… hell.. some even didn’t have the original packaging and recovery CDs…

Maybe I am thinking too logically again…
